I welcome you to our new Internet Experience! I hope you will take advantage of our new boards and our fun new chat room!

We Have Restarted Chats...We meet on Most Monday Nights at 11 pm ET in our AIM chat room.

I'll be back for chats on October 16 once I finish my recuperation from a seemingly endless sinus infection. Once I get rolling, we can set up a schedule for topic discussions you would like to participate in. I know many of you have been enjoying these open chats we've been having...so come check us out! No Question!!! We've been WAY too long without a new book! But I've always tried to have discussions that go beyond the surface of these books. I definitely find the time travel and historical diversions more intriguing than just having a chat hour of OOOOhhhh, Jamie! Now...I am not knocking an affinity for Jamie....but I try to see him a tad more multi dimensionally than some other folks...LOL! And... I actually LIKE Frank! :::watching tomato's and trout fly:::

Some Exciting News about our Message Board!

Our Outlandish Central Message Board is a part of the Forum called "Bookaholics of the Book Clique Cafe", that I developed earlier this year to support a number of reading groups. It is located at www.ezboard.com and Bookaholics has been HONORED by its selection as a Featured Board on the Internet at the NEW BOOK SITE which ezboard just launched... www.talkaboutbooks.com!

This is VERY exciting and means some great promotion for our group on the Internet! PLEASE participate in these boards, they have some GREAT new features. Recently we added Polling and I've been trying to generate some questions. If you have any... just contact me at theoutlandish!@aol.com and I'll post them!
You are always welcome to start discussions and anyone can post whether you are registered or not!

More Updates about the Group!

	Starting in September, We started some moderated chats. We posted threads at our *Message Board* and the time was selected for 11 pm ET simply because it was easy for me and no one really seemed to care...LOL. So...if you want some input into What Topics you would like to discuss, feel free to go back to the board! ;)
	I've obviously updated our website! I hope you all enjoy it and I REALLY would like any feedback on what you would like to see.
	I would love a few volunteers...I'd like to create some Outlandish games for the books. A bud of mine has a crossword puzzle maker and I thought that would be fun to post! But I need a few of you trivia type to help create them.
	I am hopeful that we will maintain the wonderful support that Diana Gabaldon has bestowed upon the original group. I'm working on a few things as we speak but I wanted to get this site launched FIRST! :)
	Our Outlandish Central Aim™Chat Room ............ (FAQ for Downloading) is available 24/7 and I would love to find some volunteers to help with chats. The AIM rooms are great because they are very user friendly for AOL/ Non-AOL/ PC and Mac users! I would like to offer the use of this room for any of our community that would like to meet together. There are built in features for ignore, etc. in case of any problems.
